We have some wonderful changes taking place here...

We will be closing for 2 days to de-glutenize the kitchen and become Denver's first and only 100% dedicated gluten-free kitchen! Tell all your friends!

We will be re-opening on Friday February 3rd for Tennyson's monthly First Friday Art Walk, and we will be featuring the music stylings of Gora Gora Orkestar, belly dancing, and some wonderful new artwork!

The Comfort Cafe

The Comfort Cafe is a not for profit community kitchen. Our goals are to feed the hungry and all who care to eat delicious and nutritious meals, memorialize the deceased, comfort the bereaved and others who experience difficulty or sadness, and to create community. Almost everyone who works at The Comfort Cafe is a volunteer. The Comfort Cafe does not charge guests for meals. The Comfort Cafe gratefully accepts donations of time, money and unprocessed food to further our mission in the community.

The Comfort Cafe offers an ongoing feast for... ...body We serve gourmet meals in flexible portions. our menu changes daily and always includes vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options. We use local, fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible. We aim to eliminate "food insecurity" - a very real problem that plagues so many in our community.	... and spirit We are operated by volunteers who believe in the power of food and community. Recipes are collected from the community to remember those loved and lost.
